  1. What's everyone's favorite 1975-soundalike? Mine's Valley. Looking for more. Also into Camino, Lauv, Coin as of late.

Not a huge fan of most of them. I like Pale Waves a lot and a couple of songs on the last Grayscale album have some 1975 vibes musically.

This band used to be like an ADTR-core band called Alive in Standby. Same dudes, Chris is awesome. Love the glo-up on their music.

  8. I would reallllly give the new Valley EP "sucks to see you doing better" a listen. Songwriting is miles ahead and I feel like they're kind of their own thing, even though I would compare them to The 1975.

It really is wild how many bands have ripped that exact sound pretty much. Even the rectangle I've seen a lot of bands have.

    The Midnight for sure.

Love that you mentioned Valley. They've really become one of my favorites since I saw them open for The Band Camino.

  15. Exactly how I got into them! They've honestly surpassed Camino with that new EP though. I wish their thread on the site was more active.

It was yesterday but I picked miles ahead cause I like it better lol I think they drag the new one out a little too long.

    I was right. Prestigious

I've yet to find another band/artist that sounds like the 1975 that I like as much as them. never had a desire to revisit any of the ones I've checked out thus far.

The 1975 being able to do every genre well is why they stand out to me. All the 80s pop rip off bands usually have 1 or 2 good songs and that’s it.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

I agree with some of the Grayscale stuff. I told my girlfriend the album sounds like a pop-punk band who obsessed over The 1975 without listening to what inspired the 1975
