It's that background music, man - it hits. Plus it's the overwhelming feeling of finally listening to this - an album I've assumed could end up being my favorite of all time. Expectations are high.

When you guys play this shit on vinyl do you do it solely on the machine or do you hook it up to normal speakers as well? If so do you recommend good stuff to use?

what kind of player do you have? I use external powered speakers R1280T - Powered Bookshelf Speakers

 

One on the way to whatever, the other on the way back home then lol

 

For most record players you need an external speaker system. Additionally, you need a pre-amp to convert the signal from the record player to the speakers, so the whole set up can become a very very pricy endeavor

SONY audio receiver - $150

I got the uturn because it’s a good starter and you can upgrade as time goes on, I got a Otorton 2M for $100

 

I literally have an standard old record player I inherited from my great uncle - who knows what it is - and then a Peanuts themed Urban Outfitters gift an ex bought me for my Xmas. No speakers or nothing. Set me up!

 

Clearly this is more involved than I knew hahahah
