Matty's voice keeps getting better, Robbers has been magic lately.

 

Yeah he’s going for the notes and parts where he use to back off the mic a bit. Pretty crazy considering how much he smokes and screams during “I Like America...”.

 

A front man who's getting more and more comfortable with his stature and presence as a front man, and with a steady lady in his life, it seems like his head is in the best space it's been in a long time.

 

I am loving his look in that Robbers video.

Gets me right in the feels every time I hear it. I cried like a baby when they were in Boston a few weeks ago. Already knowing this song was on the set list but the second it started, I fell apart. So damn good!

Surprised a bit at the number of copies ABIIOR has sold so far. 131,303 just seems a bit low to me.
Wonder if that includes streams, etc.

 

Seems about right. ABIIOR didn’t have a “mainstream” single or sales lag from the hype of the previous album. Accounting for the fact that most of those are from vinyl sales it’s pretty solid.

That Graveyards song is like, The 1975 meets a Megadrive/Genesis-era Sonic the Hedgehog soundtrack. I love it.

 

Sugar High is another dope ass track. The whole record bumps.

 

The 1975 were an answer on Jeopardy today. The question was to name the band whose 2016 album is called "i love it when you sleep for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it." Pop music was the category.
