What are some of your favorite lyrics everyone!?

I would say that for me with this band and in general its more about the sound of the words and the rhythm and melody of the lines that sell the lyrics to me..like the first line in undo “sun drowns the house” the way the combination of the music and lyrics makes me feel. Although I would also say with this band I find myself attaching to the quirkier narrative type segments like basically all of menswear. So far its alright has some lines I think of a bit...

 

This band has incredible music set to weirdly unconventional lyrics that somehow works

5 stars from NME is hilarious based on how they used to treat them.

 

They gave ABI a 5 as well lol

 

They got it on the real release day lol

 

On the catchy ‘Roadkill’ we hear details of Healy’s “tucked-up erection” and his yearning for the days when sexual encounters were more sporting: “I know this is how I get paid but it’s not really how I wanna get laid.”

Hmm lol

 

No mentions of BOPS kid. Meh.

 

No mention of What Should I Say right? That’s supposed to be a jam.

I just bought $175 worth of merch for this band/cycle, so, while I don’t want it to leak for their benefit, I also would download that shit quicker than I’ve ever done anything in my life
