yeah i no longer can't wait for this presumably great album

 

Hype train derailed for me sometime around Brief Inquiry. Two absurdly long rollouts, and — I know this might be hearsay in this thread — but the last album didn’t really live up to it for me.

 

There is zero chance I ever call this album Notes On A Conditional Form now. We only speak of Boot World here.

 

North America tour announcement on Thursday it looks like

I'm not surprised by the delay but mannn I'm not into the new artwork. I know the yellow was jarring but I liked that about it? This seems like such a departure from their aesthetic and I'm curious to see how they tie it all together.

I always thought art like this was a cool concept... their trademark rectangle but imposed on a moody landscape, sunset scene, or cityscape. Could be anything.
