    all we have is time

It's hard to compare the two. Sure, the new record is obviously more grandiose and thematic, but the self-titled is a really easy flowing condensed listen. Both are incredible in their own ways.

Honestly there probably isn't a bad song on either album

Self-titled is great. I haven't listened to it in a long time because whenever I want to listen to The 1975, I go for the new record, but it's a fantastic debut.

I remember this coming out really late at night and just listening to it 5 times in a row doing nothing but stare at my itunes lol

Yeah I think I listened like 5 times in a row when it leaked before I went to bed and then again 4/5 times when I woke up. I was so hyped. The thread was so much fun.

I remember waking up a couple hours before my alarm after turning in an hour early so I decided to check my phone to see if I missed any notifications before going back to sleep. Saw that it leaked and got the fuck up so fast and listened to it all day

I didn't listen to the leak, but I work as an auditor, and the release was during busy season (frequent 13-14 hour days). I stayed at work and bought the album as soon as it released. I told myself I was going to listen to it once and then go home and sleep. Then anotha one, and anotha one and before I knew it it was 6am. Went home, showered, went back to work, and then kept listening. My coworkers thought I stayed up because of work, but I just reassured them that I was just crazy. I probably listened to the album 12 or so times in a row before passing out at 4pm.

    We could have met!

The show was great, but you were only allowed to go down to the GA if you were a student, and the rafters were tough to dance on

I'm listening to this album right now for the first time in months. I'm dancing around my house right now like I'm in a montage in a John Hughes movie. This album is still absolutely unbelievable

Heading to see one of their huge London shows tomorrow and to the London Pop Up shop, can't wait. One band who I'm happy about making it to arena shows, the stage set up and production will be incredible there. Plus there's screens for Matty to interact with cameras/to see all of it.
