Haha, suh dude? I used to be herestoyoufla but took the opportunity to snag this badass name instead.

 

I'll go into a confused tantrum of "......no......NO! This is ALL WRONG!!!" when whatever other song starts playing after while I'm trying to sing it.

 

I think Somebody Else is probably my favorite song on here, and possibly my favorite song from this band period.

 

Somebody Else is a perfect song.

 

If not for the bridge it would probably be mine too. I can't stand the vocal effects or the way he says "fuck that get money"

 

"Ballad..."- "Somebody Else"- "Loving Someone" is the best 3 song run in this bands discography.

I know earlier I said that "Robbers" was the epitome of what this band does but I think "Somebody Else" really took the cake from it. Just showcases everything the band likes to do with their music.

 

Agreed, that part bugs me too. Overall it's one of my least favorite songs anyway though.

Ballad is fantastic.

 

i listened to "sex" for the first time in a very long time tonight in the car, windows down blasting at high volume. massive fucking wave of nostalgia, cant believe it's been 3 and a half years since i heard that song and immediately became obsessed with what is now one of my very favorite bands. right now, i like it when you sleep is by far my favorite album to come out this year and it's very likely nothing is going to come along and mean to me what this record has meant to me, it has already changed my life and helped me through some very rough shit and is going to continue helping me through rough shit because i cant stop turning to it when i'm in need. it has so many things that i look for it comfort music, first and foremost being lyrics that remind me im not alone in any of my struggles.

 

I've been letting it sit for awhile too, after probably overplaying a bit in the weeks leading up to release. Excited to go back to it and have it hit me all over again.

I was drumming along to If I Believe You yesterday and started getting emotional during the bridge where Matty sings "If I'm lost then how can I find myself." It felt otherworldly.

 

i listen to this album seriously every single day. "paris" will always be my favorite, and at this point is my favorite song not only by this band but probably of the year. but lately, "this will be my dream" is my other favorite. what an impossibly catchy hook, it just fucking soars.

 

I haven't been going back to This Must Be My Dream as much lately, despite it being one of my favorites at first. Still a great song though, I've just been all about the stretch of Paris, Nana, and She Lays Down lately.
