I’ve seen a few comments about how they’re releasing too many singles and I don’t get why people can’t just… not listen to them? I haven’t!

 

Same reason I don’t buy Halloween candy until a few days before because I WILL eat the whole bag before the holiday

 

I used to be this way with FOB.

But now I'm just so thirsty for new music, especially from these guys, that I just don't have the will to wait.

 

"Oh I don't care if you're insincere, just tell me what I wanna hear" is going to be an all-time 1975 lyric for me

 

This feels like a mix between She Lays Down and Mine rather than Be My Mistake

 

this lyric destroyed me.

 

so excited to listen to all the songs fresh with the album release. I couldn’t hold off on POTB though. they way everyone talks about the singles sounds like this is shaping up to be possibly their best yet.

 

Great new song as I love their ballads. I couldn't be more in love was one of my favorites from the last album and I remember they played it on the live stream at reading or glastonbury or whatever it was right after and it was great. I'd be happy to hear this new song on their upcoming tour.

 

Because most people (me included) are weak with no self control :)

 

It's giving D'Angelo!!!!!!

 

If the unreleased tracks are on the same level as these it will be their best, tightest album. No question.

 

I’m beginning to also fall into the camp of thinking this could potentially top ILIWYS, which would have been literally unthinkable to me until very recently since that’s my all-time favorite album

 

It’s my all time favorite too. I’m very curious about the unreleased tracks right now, want to hear the curveballs before making that conclusion. But it has the potential

 

I dig it.

EDIT: I feel like these last three songs have really hit my 1975 sweet spot. I’m excited to hear the rest.

 

the lyrics in this one hurt a lot

 

they have the absolute best ballads. if i believe you and she lays down are two of my favorite songs by them. this one's right up there.

 

loved the video, and love the song. this one could be my favorite of the singles, it just feels like a lived-in classic that I am somehow just now hearing for the first time.

 

Good stuff. Been listening to them pretty much non stop since the first single dropped. Got my wife and brother/sister in law hooked as well

 

Not the kind of song I would go out of my way to turn on but it's really pretty

 

another great song but I've still not really been blown away by any of the singles the way I usually am and with only 7 songs left to hear I'm a bit worried this may end up as my least favourite album by them.

still excited to hear the full thing and hopefully these songs will grow on me more too.

 

Surprised the single artwork wasn’t the other half of I’m In Love With You, considering the first two were two parts of a whole

Anyway still have only heard Part Of The Band. Been trying to stay away from reactions too, but the generally positive reception has me amped

 

This one is phenomenal

 

That Drive Like I Do clip sounds really nice
