I really liked two songs from his last album and feel like he has potential to put out something I'd really like but always seems to make choices that don't work for me for the most part.

I actually saw Yungblud do an instore earlier this week. He was a great performer and engages with his fans in a really wholesome way.

These are my faves from his new album if anyone wants a place to get into it.

I like the first yungblud album quite a bit and the new one is solid

I listened to their set from Reading and man, what a fucking dance party that was!

Reading this out of context made me think you were saying this about the new '75 record, and I got very nervous.

Seeing all the Yungblud talk… a friend of mine sent me this song a while ago and I thought it was quite good.

Haven’t heard much else of his stuff tho, but thought it was worth a share.

Strawberry Lipstick is on my workout playlist - that's a really good one. Most of his ballads I can really leave behind.

That's the main one I like. Wish he would do more stuff like that.

Man, turning down a four month tour opening for Ed Sheeran. I think they’re only a main act at this point, but their growth would have skyrocketed had he accepted the tour

I can’t ready the article, but when would they have done this?

I do think they fit perfectly in the realm of biggest band you’ve never heard of.

Ed Sheeran is the songbird of his generation. No slander here.

Almost everyone in my family that's in my age range hasn't heard of them. I agree that 'biggest band you've never heard of' is an apt banner.

I can think of maybe ten people I know who know of them, and only because of me

Yeah, not many people in my circles know them. But they sold out a 5,000 capacity venue here in MA, two nights in a row, so I don’t think they care much lol

This is from my US perspective, I get it might be different in their homeland.
Yeah, I'm with those that can say they don't know many people that that know them at all. I mean besides Chocolate, what else was a 'hit' or would you just stumble upon somewhere? Sure, they make spotify indie playlists and the like, but their music isn't really rife for discovery by being accessible and playing at stores/commercials/sports games etc. I also think they're almost like Twenty One Pilots, got a lot of stans and not many casuals. (To a lesser degree TOP are almost top 200 on spotify and the 1975 barely crack the top 500). It you seems if you know of the 1975, you LOVE them (myself included). Easily top 5 spotify artist all time and will only rise if the new album is any good.

When Chocolate first came out I might as well have been stopping people on the street asking them to take my ear buds.

Anyone in my circle was introduced to this band on a car ride with me or at a party.

"CHECK THIS OUT, IT MAKES ME WANNA DANCE!"

Somebody Else was on regular rotation here in CT on our only *alternative* station. Which is really saying something because they are so tone deaf as to what is popular it should be illegal. Went on tour recently and what other area's stations played was blowing my mind.

Wait, you mean Soccer Mommy and Japanese Breakfast are on the radio!?
