Was the chase presale just for MSG?

 

I’m gonna have to go to this mysterious Boston venue, feels rare that I can see a band I love so soon after they drop a new project, usually tours are months behind when I’m at my peak listening enjoyment

 

I haven’t seen them live yet and very much wanting to make that happen. is $100 each for pit reasonable? not sure what Ticketmaster will list with fees

 

If this would be your first time ever seeing them live, I’d pay whatever they’re charging for the ticket. Being in the pit near the stage for a 1975 show is something you won’t forget

 

I slipped up and made the mistake of listening to Happiness

My goodness

 

I mean I'm not sure if they're going all in with their stage setup and lightshow with this tour but when I saw them live, it was worth it just for that tbh let alone the music.

 

Speaking of stage setups, I threw on their 2016 Live at The O2 a little bit ago - first time watching. Saw them three times on this run and it’s blowing my mind now just as much as it did then. Really amped for the new stuff but jfc this time period was such an unbelievable high

 

New song is amazing and I'm FINALLY going to see them live (assuming I get tickets lol). Fucking stoked

 

Seems that the two singles are updated for Dolby Atmos now on Apple Music if you're into that sort of thing.

 

I can’t get over how amazing Happiness is. It’s Not Living was great but it felt very by the numbers imo, Happiness feels like the same “idea”, but just capturing a specific emotional feeling

 

Happiness is a fucking vibe if there ever was one

 

I have a very strange feeling that Happiness is going to have very long legs.

 

I listened to Happiness on earbuds while walking to a concert last night, and man, I was just vibinnnnn on that sidewalk

 

the guitar solo in this song is astounding, what a tone

 

Yes thank you! It’s layered in the mix but Adam really nails the subtle modulations so well, right until the sax solo comes in

 

he is a fantastic player, he plays with so much feel obviously you know this band isnt known for super wild guitar parts but you always get some instantly ear-wormy bits when adam shines

 

Speaking of the O2 show, I wonder what happened with that Philharmonic vinyl release that was teased somewhat recently

 

Anyone get the presale info for tomorrow? I’m signed up for their mailing list but haven’t seen anything :(

 

on and off casual fan of the band (Brief Inquiry is prob my fav) popping in to say I finally got around to listening to Happiness and it might be the best song they've ever done. that's all
