Also very solid run.

Would be so happy if I ever got to see the album live just for this run.

It'd be Heart Out --> Settle Down --> Robbers obviously from that album.

Prob all land in my top 10 songs overall by them.

I kinda thought talk was a throw away song then I saw it live and I was like ok this fucks.

 

Yeah Talk and menswear are two sides of the same coin to me

 

"Talk" is still defo my least fave. It's not a shitty song, but whenever they'd play it live/it comes on, I'm always meh about it.

I’m one of few who prefers their full band sound as opposed to Matty and a keyboard. The S/T still holds as my favorite release too. Though I love many songs by them, if I had to pick a combination of 3 songs that I never skip through, those are it.

 

I genuinely wasn't aware that a general popular consensus was they preferred solo Matty and a keyboard over the band...?

 

A lot of what I see get talked about on here or praised as favorites are generally the Healy-centric songs.

Haha, it's very specific but it's the same reason I still don't love "Chocolate", especially live. His voice on those two songs only seems to be the most nasal/strained version of itself and it just bothers me. It's such a pathetic and ridiculous negativity I have towards them, I'm aware. But it's all I can focus on with those songs, partics live. That being said, "Chocolate" is obvs fun as fuck live regardless.

 

Now I’m not gonna be able to listen to these without hearing this haha

 

I hope they bring back “Settle Down” into the love set. Especially if they do another warm up tour.
