"Mine" is the early afternoon vibe. Gonna loop this ish and maybe throw in a little "Downtown Lights" every other repeat.

I honestly do not get all the Bon iver comparisons. I hear it maybe a little bit on I Like America and the 1975, but that's it, and even that is really just because he used the harmonizer or vocoder or whatever. It's not like Bon Iver invented those vocal effects. They could've just as easily been inspired by Kanye or fun. or really a ton of people for those parts.

Also I get the Radiohead comparisons for the spirit of them, in that it's an evolution into something even greater for a band that was already really good and feels like a really significant album for the time we are living in, but I don't agree that the albums have any thematic similarities or offer any of the same conclusions. They explore technology and how it has or will impact society from completely different lenses.

With the Bon Iver comparisons, I think that's just down to 22AM being released so recently is all. In my opinion anyway. I didn't see any connection other than the 22AM ones in the songs you mentioned either. I don't usually listen to music with such heavy vocal effects, and Bon Iver is my only reference.

Literally had to look up the lyrics because I was making a joke, but then turned out it was less a joke. Those lyrics are all over the place!

My 20-year-old girlfriend agreed with me how hot it would be if I mistook overfascination with her epistemological processes for wanting to murder her

They should drop an instrumental version of the robot track for us to slot in after we've heard the full version a few times.

Record is good but it didn't give me that same magical feeling that "i like it when you sleep.." did upon first listen.

They're just interpreting Matty's response to that interview question. That's basically what he said.
