Yeah...kinda miffed that I ordered this within minutes of it being available, and they only decided to post it yesterday. Talk about planning.

To make matters worse, my brother's girlfriend is French. And I mean really French. I mean, invites me to parties consisting almost exclusively of French people drinking wine and eating cheese. Also I can't drink coffee because my body freaks and I go ultra hyper.

A like just wasn't enough for this post. So here's a re-post.

 

People who don't drink coffee (and don't have an alternate caffeine source) are the world's most confounding enigmas to me. How do you stay awake in between sleep?

 

I sleep enough in the first place haha. Plus I chew a lot of gum.

 

A great cup of coffee in the morning is the only reason I get out of bed.

Seriously though, I can drink it, but more often than not it's worse than me being drunk. I get anxious, have to pace around everywhere, can't shut up, and my vision gets all weird. Isn't worth it.

 

Showers are my coffee.

 

This album took on a whole new life when I was able to play it on my sonos system. I'm so over the impracticality of leaks.
It was also a perfect soundtrack to starting up christmas decorations around the house. When Mine came on, it was basically Christmas eve up in here.

 

I don't fuck with caffeine of any kind and I don't really know. I mean I get a little sleepy sometimes? But I feel like that's also true of caffeine drinkers. It's not that hard for me to just stay awake lol

 

Coffee is disgusting. I don’t have caffeine and I’m exhausted 24/7.

 

Some people partake in shower beers but I'm over here with my shower coffee loving life.

 

Okay so i've listened to this thing front to back 4 times today and my early thoughts are that I wish I held off on listening to all the pre-release singles because those are easily my favorites, so i'm left feeling a little underwhelmed (totally my fault, I usually hold off on listening to pre-release songs when I know an album is on the horizon but I couldn't help it.) The weird instrumental experimentation they did with this album is really cool, but I don't see myself going back to How To Draw and Robot (more just my musical taste, i've never been a huge of of ~mostly~ instrumental tracks.) I'm definitely not disappointed with the album at all I just think all the high marks on the album were released months prior to the release and it would have be a better listening experience for me personally not having heard all of them already.

 

I'm lactose intolerant and all this talk is making me sad.
