Thinking back to the 1975 / Wolf Alice / Japanese House tour. What a lineup

Haha I'm going to choose to believe that's what he means. I am curious though what is the meaning of that line?

Fair enough, i don't really follow him closely. I thought I remembered some stuff of him saying he heard a good song under all the production or something, but I am probably off or misremembering.

Been doing a full discog listen today and the one-two punch of Somebody Else/Loving Someone is probably my favorite moment in their collection

  9. I think that's mine too. It's the one thing missing from this album I was hoping for.

I don’t wanna say there’s a “lack of emotion” in this album, because there’s definitely not, but after listening to those two I don’t think anything hits that emotional peak for me. Closest thing would probably be I Always Wanna Die

I could already make arguments for how to draw -> love it if we made it or the last two tracks being just as good of a one two punch

I get that same Somebody Else emotional feeling during Love It If We Made It. I hate to fantasy book a track listing but I think if it went right into Sincerity is Scary or It's Not Living.. It would satisfy that craving.

When the Petrichor section of How to Draw kicked in on my first listen, my immediate thought was "I am alive."

  14. It's 10+ minutes of being emotionally insane, and as the cool kids say, absolute bops.

  15. I get a different feeling from LIIWMI, that song has such a "2018" feel to it, a look at the current state of the world and politics and chaos. It's emotional, of course, but it hits me in a different way. It's a punk rock song to me, which is pure emotion, but those massage a different part of my emotions.

  16. but does it also slap?

Love It If We Made It makes me angry, while Somebody Else/Loving Someone makes me sad and emotional haha I will say I think LIIWMI is my favorite song by them, but the other two back to back is a lot more hard hitting imo and gives me a much different vibe. We’ll see with time though, I went into their last album blind and not having listened to anything by them, while this one I think I’d listened to LIIWMI 100+ times

Totally, Somebody Else is something I don't think can ever be beat for me..I love that song so much and hits me the same way every time I listen. But, if anyone can beat the song..it's these guys.

When I went to the studio QnA with them, Greg was joking about not knowing what a bop is and why people kept calling Tootime one
