I just did a listen with a zoot (probably how Matty and George intended it to be listened to) and my word, the production just opens up so beautifully.

 

i’ve done an experiment and i can confirm that this is indeed music for cars

 

I was running along the Hudson earlier and Petrichor hit right when I came around a building and the NYC skyline was in view. Had to stop for a second and soak it in. Brilliant record.

 

That moment is so triumphantly energetic that it’s hard to not be in awe every time.
