I thought that’s what that was, either way the lyrics to it are probably my favorite on the record “love yourself like someone loves you” is so simple yet so amazing to me

 

Just to be exact, the line is Love yourself like someone you love. Still a terrific line though.

Saved - Now, Now begs to differ. Toss up between those for me.

 

Still probably have two or three albums above it right now.

A Short Story About a War and Saved are going to be really hard to top. And then there's the emotion connection to quite a few others that have been out for months, that this may just not have the time to forge.

 

Yeah I dropped another $150 to improve my turntable this week to prep haha

 

I think this’ll go the way of every other 1975 record for me: not my favorite of the year, but the one I end up listening to the longest

 

Foxing and mwY are the two this will battle to top spot for me. still too early for me if I will even consider it my favorite this year, however.

 

Yeah this will definitely be in my top 5 but my number 1 is gonna either be Nearer To God or untitled

 

This year had so many good albums. Started in January and has been almost non-stop. I keep forgetting MANIA was this year too. Feel like I've been listening to that for like three years at this point. Damn.

Yeah, Nearer to God is up there as well. That Kacey Musgraves album, Natalie Prass, Brian Fallon, Andrew McMahon, Fickle Friends, Half Waif, Night Game, Hippo Campus, Janelle Monae ... I could go on and on ... haha, 2018 was ridiculous.
