the sequencing on this album is fucking immaculate.

 

My most anticipated is The 1975. I can't wait to see what the hell they do with the intro this time.

 

yeah idk, its not living if its not with you may end up taking the top spot on this album for me. songs like paris and ugh hit pretty hard, but this song just hits closer to home than those in how vivid the description of opiate addiction is. its this big cheery dream-like song because thats how that shit makes you feel, but underneath it all its bleak as hell which again is exactly what addiction is like. everything may seem fine but its not and never will be

 

hmmmm so "surrounded by heads and bodies" completely justifies every radiohead comparison

i cannot believe how much acoustic guitar is on this album

 

Two thirds through... man, this sequencing is tight. Flows really well through such disparate sounds.

Did not need that Siri spoken word though. They could’ve done something beautiful with that musical bed, and choosing what they did was both brave and stupid.
