If they even did. I still don’t believe they’d have had the CDs in the case.

I mean it was stupid but nobody would’ve been able to officially buy it. It’s just someone putting something in the wrong section. As I say - I sincerely doubt anybody actually managed to snag it, unless Target put the CDs in the case. Which I don’t believe they would, but I’m from the UK so I have no idea.

 

I mean if he stole it it’s in there. Tick tick.

 

Of course the CD would be in the case, but like has been pointed out, there is no way somebody would have been able to purchase it

 

I saw the last Bleachers album on the shelf before it was out. Almost considered stealing it

 

Why of course? In the UK there’s a decent amount of stores that only put the cases on display. When you go to purchase they’ll give you the disk from behind the counter. Same with dvds, Blu-ray and games. Other stores just put security boxes around them. It seems moronic to do anything different now.

 

That isn’t really how it works here, for the most part. From the looks of it, the CDs in the picture are sealed.

 

It would be so inconvenient for everyone involved for stores like Target to *not* keep the actual discs in the CD cases. They’re shrink-wrapped. Nobody buys CDs in the first place, also they are rarely over $15, if somebody wanted to steal some merchandise and resell it in 2018 they would not be stuffing their coats with CDs.

 

Release the album early

Well there you go then. If what somebody wrote on Instagram is true...this album is out there.

 

I feel like whoever managed to snag this (assuming it's even true) probably doesn't have a CD drive in their computer... because that seems to be the case a lot of the time now lol... welcome to 2018.

 

What you gotta do is bring 2 cds to the self checkout, scan the random one twice and then bag the 1975. This way target isn’t losing money and you get the 1975. Win win!

 

Ha! Yesterday I managed to get a really effin’ good deal on an iPhone X. Upgrading from a 6, it feels glorious. But I forgot about the whole no headphone jack thing. Lord, the pressure I put upon myself to not lose that little connector...
