It’s alright both are overrated

 

I was an opening manager at one for a bit, definitely the freshest ingredients of all the chains

 

Jimmy John’s is one of those places that I think is bland af and never eat at, but once every like 15 months I’ll get a weird craving for it and somehow it hits the spot every time

 

I used to like Jimmy John's but their veggie sandwich is bad and uses like a pound of cheese in lieu of meat and they're a garbage company

 

Potbelly's, Firehouse, Jimmy Johns, Cousin's (mostly a Wisconsin chain) are my faves. Don't have a Jersey Mike's near me so I can't comment. Subway is trash tier.

In western mass it’s basically all referred to as a grinder. Sub is normal too, but no one says hoagie here.

Also I don’t like the vocals on the album version, bit too plasticy.

 

I dont know if I’ve had more than 3 Wawa hoagies in my life. Primos is the best chain around here

 

I actually love Subway. Have slowly backed away from Jimmy though, I think it actually kind of sucks. I fuck with Jersey Mike’s. Penn Station is solid but always feel like I’m over paying.

I've had Jimmy Johns twice and both times it was so unbelievably salty I could barely eat it

I've gotten the Mediterranean a couple times and it's great. The grilled cheese was disappointing. They also have one just called a vegetarian that looks good and they do a P&J that I'm curious about

That's 4 veggie options though! Most places you're lucky if there's one

 

Wawa always feels like a business transaction, go in, get your food, get out. I've seen multiple parties in sheetz parking lots. I've seen an inflatable pool in the back of a pickup truck. I've seen burgers and dogs getting grilled. I've seen brews shared. I've seen kinship. Sheetz wins for spirit alone.
