I would go as far as to say I overplayed Somebody Else more than any other song prior to the release of an album.

I still have to listen to it more than once.

 

I listened to UGH! the most prior to the album coming out, Love Me second most, then Change of Heart, and the other two I didn't want to play too much of so only like about 5 listens beforehand.

 

I don’t think we know of anything coming besides the two albums. Doesn’t seem like an EP is in the mix anymore.

 

I should also say this band is capable of causing me to experience something I don't with other artists.

The 1975 know how to make a music video that somehow makes the song better.. if that makes any sense.

 

Can't listen to UGH! or Change of Heart or Robbers without thinking of their videos, yeah

 

I overplayed the shit out of The Sound and Ugh before ILIWYS came out, and those two plus Somebody Else and Loving Someone (which is my favorite song overall by them) are still the songs I listen to the most off that album

When I hear Loving Someone I think of the first time I saw it live. Not with the rainbow but with the black and white. Breathtaking.

 

Love the fact that this band has such a talented drummer in George Daniel, but will still throw on a simple drum machine to better suit the song. Seriously, George might be my favorite drummer of the last several years. Only other one that comes to mind is Matthew McCaughan of Bon Iver.
