It sounds like it is

 

A lot of the time I find this band over hyped on this site.

But this song is good. Really good.

 

radio ppl were saying it sounded like Joy Division earlier this week

It’s good, but hopefully the stereo mix will sound better. That guitar is off-putting

lol i don't think joy division came to mind once in my last five listens. i guess it resembles that one riff in "disorder"

I feel like the go to reference point pith an angular sounding guitar like that from a British band is Joy Division

it does have a "Disorder" vibe tho

 

Not at all what I was expecting... then again part of me knew not to expect what I thought I expected from this band.
