Great record but it feels like a less polished Menzingers, and over time I find the lack of anthemic choruses a little more disjointing. Still very good and in my top five so far.

On a sad note, my ex and one of the most charming little humans I've ever met passed away last week - I just found out last night and am unsure what to feel. I'll probably never know what happened, although knowing her I can imagine, and I can't help but wonder if there's something I should or could have said when we last spoke. I am not the crying sort, but I found myself weeping last night, because I hope she knew in her final moments that she was loved. Devastated for those who knew her closely - she had so much more to give.



On the positive side, I found this song this morning and just the sound of it is lifting my spirits up - gorgeous Bon Iver vibes all the way through

Really sorry to hear about that man. Like @Larry David said stay strong. Glad you discovered Novo Amor such a great artist. Music can be very therapeutic in times like these.

 

On a few separate occasions I was playing either Justin Timberlake or Muse in my room and my mom thought it was my own music. This isn’t really a compliment, I just genuinely can’t see how my mom would think that at all lmao
