I'd be lying if i said i wasnt stoked af when i picked up significant other on cd in 1999. Just finally holding it in my hands in the car was a glorious moment in itself.

 

I think i learned every word to that album in like a week.

 

this basically sums up 1999 in the music world.

 

A couple years later the excitement shifted to Ocean Avenue. But ya like many of you nu metal was my first go to genre not gonna lie

 

Yellowcard was like a breath of fresh air IMO.

 

I also very fondly remember buying Powerman 5000 Tonight the stars revolt on cassette haha

 

@Mary V this Robyn Album is pure fire. It is so friggin good!

 

I replayed it recently and it actually holds up pretty nicely and not just because of the nostalgia

 

I do not miss cassette tapes. However, I still have the very first one that was given to me when I was 4. Bon Jovi of course.

 

I haven't watched this yet. I will now.
