me: did you like mamma mia 2? [note to reader: my wife and i refer to the movie as mamma mia 2 instead of its proper name mamma mia: here we go again because that’s just too wordy]

z: yeah!!!

me: so now we have mamma mia 1 [note to reader: i’m aware that the movie is not called mamma mia 1] AND mamma mia 2 [note to reader: refer to previous note regarding mamma mia 2] at home!!!

z: we need mamma mia 3.

no joke...i’ve spent some time these past few months brainstorming/daydreaming what a possible mamma mia 3 would look like

 

I have not yet seen the 2nd Mamma Mia movie. Is it still out in theaters?

any way you could request to both work on thanksgiving in order to request xmas off? or vice versa?

 

At my job we lay out the holidays and allow them to pick one that they would prefer to have off and we will try to accommodate as such. I’m sorry, but I take zero pity on people who work the holidays. I’ve done it for basically all of my working career and it’s frustrating to me as a manager to have these kids try and request all the holidays off when we tell you in the interview that this is a holiday job. It’s the busiest time of the year and we need employees. It’s not like we suddenly spring it on them. If you don’t want to work the holidays, don’t apply at a movie theater.

With that said, Halloween is almost universally slow at the movies cause everyone is out at night. I’m talking about Thanksgiving to New Years.

 

I’d choose to work on Columbus Day or something like that
