I'm still not sure I understand what's going on. I also only started getting back into the show in the last few months though. What about Susanne? She not around anymore?

 

No, they broke up a while ago. Bry and Q’s assistant/friend Stacy had that marriage pact 5(?) years ago that they are apparently going through with (I didn’t listen to the episode that just dropped, so I don’t know the details)

 

Have you guys seen pictures of Bry? He has lost some amount of weight and is looking good!

New pod touches on the marriage pact but doesn't go into it as much as you would think they would. I kinda of feel the suzanne thing never got covered off (?) I guess you dont really want to do a full disection of a breakup on a pod though!

 

I see. I'm listening to some 2015 episodes too and Susanne was still around so I was confused lmao

 

He didn't get into it but I do know he confirmed their break up sometime within the last few months. I also hear Bry gets into one of his unbearable anti-pc, fox news kind of rants in this episode? Is it a big portion of the ep? I can't fucking stand him when he's doing that

 

He does. However, Walt keeps it real and sets up a moment in the final 10mins of the pod which had me burst out laughing at the gym. So wasn't too bad overall.

 

They broke up but then they got back together and then I guess they broke up again? It never really got covered

 

I honestly wouldn't mind if Walt started a new podcast with anybody but Bry. His constant derailing otherwise solid episodes with his fucked alt-right bitter old man rants has seriously ruined this show for me.

 

Anyone remember the earlier episodes that were pretty much Ming getting ripped a new one. The good ol' days.

Side Note: Ming came out at a night out here in Scotland with Bry after a con and the guy is genuinely such a good guy. I suppose lives up to the reputation he got of always going out.

 

I wonder what happened that he’s barely ever on anymore

 

The last I remember he was furious with Johnson for missing a con appearance (I guess it fucked over Ming as well) and said he was done doing favors for TESD. I'm sure he's still friends with them but he hasn't been on since they talked about that. It's a bummer though, they could use him so Bry can focus his wrath on him instead of virtually everything else

Also I'm listening to old episodes from 2017 and he has been going on the exact same rants and getting the exact same E-Mails lmao the omly difference is the episodes were longer so they also talked about other stuff

 

That's exactly what I was thinking, dude seems like he is spiraling. All this episode ended up being was Walt and Q trying to point out how unreasonable he is.

 

Even the majority of the TESD reddit is shitting on Bry’s recent bullshit. Sounds like this is an episode I should skip
