She waited too long and Post Malone came and took the number 1 slot. And will probably sit there for awhile.

Maybe I'm just not on the right corner of the internet, but if it wasn't for this site I would have no idea Fortnight was a single. I have not heard it on the radio or really heard anybody talking about it. And I have to listen to the radio in the work car a lot unfortunately. But maybe I have bad anecdotal experiences cause I don't think I've heard the post Malone Morgan wallen song either.

I agree - I know the sales are there but it feels like the singles from each of the last few records have been played less and less, and I mentioned before that I think fortnight was one of the last songs I’d have chosen to be a single off this record so I’d imagine that doesn’t help. Granted she’s much bigger than the radio but still seems odd.

also, the remix isn’t great but at least it’s not tethered to a digital album/vinyl/cassette/whatever else they can cook up

  10. Has the song left the hot 100 top ten since it debuted? Seems like it’s doing pretty good.

I heard Fortnight on the radio yesterday and it was heavily edited. The entire second verse and the lines about killing people were removed.

If it were me, I would have released 6 versions of the album and each one gives you one half of one of the bonus songs.

Edit: 7th version of the album comes with an audio editing program to join the song halves together.

All that happens in stan wars is that each artists fans buys more to stick it to the other artist and both artists come out ahead so go for it I guess.

Back in my day we all just walked 9 miles in the snow to call into TRL :obi:

Which is a shame because tbh after this Billie album I am desperate to see what Finneas could do with a few Taylor songs

After so many Jack/Aaron songs, I am desperate to see what literally any other producer on the planet would do with Taylor songs.
