I disagree. I think they both have some of the highlights and I don't think what they're doing is that different, probably because it's what Taylor wanted for this album.

I can already see myself returning to more songs on this than Midnights

I have to go to bed before I can finish but so far I like most of it a lot although I think it feels too long and there's a couple of songs I wasn't that into.

Looking forward to listening with lyrics and letting it grow on me a little.

The smallest man that ever lived is brutal and 100% about a certain The 1975 singer.

    See, I love it.

Title track is definitely about a couple people and one is Matty.

I love Florence being on the album but I wish it was on a better song than Florida.

I need to listen to this in full eventually. But I bounced around the tracklist and listened to 4 songs, and none of them grabbed me at all.

Nothing grabbed me on first listen but it’s pleasant, her core fans will eat this up.

It is about time for a reinvention though.

I don’t have high hopes. I was just sent a link so I’ll listen to a bit and then probably all in full when I’m off work.

No, it's about Peanut, not his actual dong.

Kind of strange that such a mid-tempo album is a borderline summer release.

Because it sounds like she says "Charlie Poop"?

I only listened to the first 2 tracks but the lyrics are really bad on those. I enjoy the feel of the songs, but there were multiple lines in each that pulled me right out of the groove and made me go "Wait . . . what?"

I think his point is that this was a bit sloppy across the board.

Once people saw the CDs behind plastic at Target I knew it was a matter of time.

Fortnight is a really good song.

Listening through headphones now and the production is really good. I for one and happy she's still working with Jack.
