Tried to get tix for the Red and 1989 tours. No dice. Have not tried since.

 

They didn’t have Verified Fan back then though, right? Reputation and Lover Fest couldn’t have been easier.

 

Correct. I did not try for Reputation because I really did not like that album when it came out. And Lover is a moot point!

 

I wouldn't have a prayer either tbh except one of my best friends is really good at the whole process - so she does the buying and the Taylor Swift group chat just pays her for our portions of the cost

 

I did not have that person, but I really wish I did! Really regret not figuring out a way to make it work for the Red tour.

Got lucky with Red tbh. She was still mostly doing arenas and I was able to get rid an hour before start time on StubHub for like $60 each. Side stage in on of the smaller venue for that tour too.

 

I have a friend whose flex is that she saw Taylor during self titled except that's when she kinda sucked live so it wasn't great lol

 

my wife's flex is that about 6 months before she met me, Taylor played her VH1 Storyteller's show at the college theater where she worked, so she got to go for free and brought her brother. It coulda been me!!!!

My flex is that when I saw her in the 1989 era, I saw her in Vegas at a festival and I believe it was the very first 1989 show and a few things weren’t totally ironed out yet. When she was harnessed up in the catwalk thing above the crowd, she got stuck in the harness and ended up staying up there for a few songs instead of just one or two haha. And she said “fuck!” out of frustration a few times and I thought it was so awesome. Her live shows are always so perfect so seeing things go wrong a couple times was actually a treat. And that was before we knew explicit lyric Taylor so hearing her say “fuck” a few times sounded crazy. Haha.

 

Just makes me so damn sad thinking about that... I had tix to the OKC show but was sent to Korea a month before it. Didn't get to see her live until Reputation when we got free tickets, second row middle of the aisle. Maybe the best show I've ever seen.

 

My "flex" is that she once retweeted something I wrote for AbsolutePunk. Unfortunately, that "something" was a review of Ryan Adams.

My flex is my girlfriend at the time high fived her as she was going around the crowd during the “Red” tour. It was awesome.

 

I’ve now seen multiple videos on TikTok where people have purchased it in stores (in France was the last one I saw) and are listening to it. So, yeah. Keep an eye out, fam.

 

Only flex I have is my college room mate and good friend's dad is long-time friends with her dad. Always kind of thought he was exaggerating, but sure enough earlier this year I visit him and his parents at their house in the Tampa area and we're out walking the dog and run into Taylor Swift's dad and end up having a full conversation with him for 30 minutes.

Apparently she also stayed at their house in PA when her friend was getting married a few years back to keep it on the DL.

I don’t really have a flex per se but I was in a wedding party with one of Taylor’s cousins. He actually officiated the ceremony. Not too many degrees of separation haha
