I still like her most in the workaholics bear jacket

 

So it’s funny. For as much shit I talk about “ME!” I actually enjoy it as “empty calorie” pop.

 

ME is totally fine and enjoyable but I don't think it fits on the album, shoulda been a standalone single rather than the kickoff for Lover

 

Me sounds like something that would fit as a children's movie soundtrack single rather than Lover

 

"from the film franchise that brought you Can't Stop The Feeling...."

 

Lover is definitely my least favourite from her. I just wasn’t in to the vibe of the album at all and it’s a touch too long.

Folklore and Evermore are perfect and definitely what I was wanting from her for a while.

Now if only we could get that true rock album that Haunted gave us a glimpse of many moons ago.

Definitely like that version significantly better but still just don't love the melodies in it. Also just don't like the words "Cornelia Street" for some reason. Has always put me off the song lol.

 

Omg I like the song especially the live version but I also dislike the word Cornelia and she says it so much

 

All this Lover talk made me go track down the Lover playlist I did to make it a thirteen song album with a revised track order.

I’d move You Need To Calm Down lower but other than that I mostly agree with Steve

The Archer is her worst "track 5"

 

I'd say it's much better than "Dear John" and "White Horse". I'd probably put it above "Tolerate It" and "My Tears Ricochet" as well.

 

As a Taylor Swift fan... Track 5 isn't a real thing. It's a fan theory that she picked up in retrospect as a marketing gimmick.

I saw a tiktok once that track 9 is the real track 5 and it has weight

 

its very much a retroactive thing after All Too Well. She has become to conscious about it if Im being honest.
