He's literally the guy he was before he dated anyone in the spot light. When he took off to Montana years ago and he wrote Born and Raised and then Paradise Valley....he changed completely and then the Dead was like "tour with us bro".

There is an interview somewhere where he basically said the had to go to Ego Rehab. He also stopped drinking for a period of time.

 

I also believe that his breakup with Katy Perry really broke his heart and opened his eyes. He was like "Nope, that's it...I need to learn to be alone"....I can relate so hard to that this past 16 months. Sometimes you just have to hit bottom to get back up and make changes.

You can do as many PR-team-vetted interviews as you want, it’s never going to look good that you vultured the rights to someone’s art out from under them, especially art that has built its insane value from being SO personal to its creator.

 

I always find it interesting how even after everything that went down people like Ariana still are managed by him. I thought Taylor and Ariana were friends and Ariana would get a new manager after seeing what happened to her friend but maybe that’s just a dream scenario.

I don't really follow Ariana closely. Does she write her songs? Maybe that's part of the difference. I think Taylor is much closer to her songs than pop stars who don't really have much of a hand in the songwriting. That's just my general assumption though.

 

Yeah she does but there are usually co-writers like with Taylor.

 

I think it's just that they can divorce their personal relationship from his relationship with Taylor but I definitely side eye anyone who works with him

Tbh I feel for anyone who works with scooter I feel like he doesnt have a positive reputation for the way he treats his clients, like pushing them pretty hard against their best interests
