That "Cruel Summer" remix is so bad that it single-handedly makes an argument for remixes being criminalized.

  2. 98.4% of Taylor remixes are absolute garbage

Which has a worse batting average: Taylor's remixes or Taylor's merch?

There’s only one good remix (sad girl autumn or whatever) and at least a few good merch items. Or at least serviceable merch items, haha.

yeah, in no way does that picture indicate it'll be a Prime exclusive. the service would specify such. could be a spot for an eventual rental/purchase. she also probably wouldn't want to make a deal with a studio/streamer to license content exclusively with the SAG-AFTRA strike still going on.

Won’t be for at least another 12 weeks tho. The deal says they have to wait 13 weeks before it can be on streaming services

I definitely recall thinking the Reputation merch was hideous, but I dislike the whole visual aesthetic of that album, so that might have just been me.

I bought Taylor merch once ever, the cardigan for my wife, and that specifically is perfect

her merch because I can listen to the remix for free whereas a shirt that looks like Meredith made it costs $100

Well, same. But the quality was better for some of that stuff and never really heard complaints before. The reddit heads think the switch away from Big Machine is when everything went downhill

I don’t know about “Cruel Summer” needing to be in it but she definitely should have done a Springsteen-esque all bangers ending. I’d have 100% closed with “Anti-Hero”.

Wouldn't have minded that, either. If she was ending with Midnights, that was the closer to pick. Everything after she played that felt like a nice bonus, but not as essential.

This conversation caused me to look back at my imagined setlist from last fall when she first announced the Eras concept. Looked like I tapped "Anti-Hero" as the main set closer.

Screenshot_20231020_215758_Wikipedia.jpg vault track lengths per a Spotify prerelease page. i guess adding Sweeter Than Fiction to the CD would require overburn if she wanted to keep it all on one disc, hence the exclusion? if she wanted, she could've thrown it in the mix and put the 9 bonus/vault tracks on a separate CD - leaving disc 1 at 48:42, and disc 2 at 34:01, but i guess that's not as convenient.

They’ve really been pushing this. Honestly wonder how much $$$ has been spent promoting it. This is a guy who knows nothing really about how any of this works
