At least she picked one of the best Speak Now songs.

 

I joked to my boss that I wouldn’t get to hear two of my favorite songs off Evermore because they’d be such a bummer so clearly she wouldn’t play them… and there they are. Right there.

There’s a couple song choices I could nitpick, but honestly, if an artist is performing 44 songs and hitting so many of the highs, I’m just gonna a enjoy it. My big shocks are the lack of Sparks Fly, Mine, Ivy, Maroon.

 

the speak now thing is odd but my first thought was that maybe it’s gonna get its own moment soon

 

That setlist is fucking insane. Taylor in her Bruce Springsteen era.

 

My bummer with that setlist is that the big songs from Red are the big songs from Red, lol. Would so much rather get almost any other song on that album than the big singles. But alas.

Makes sense that she’s giving more attention to the albums she hasn’t toured yet. Very excited to see the show in just 4 weeks.

my only qualms really are the folklore picks, Mirrorball should be a staple and not playing The One is insane

I’ve never left a concert thinking “man, I wish the headliner had played less.” I’ve wanted shorter concerts, but like… less openers, please.

 

No New Romantics is my only complaint.

also, should have just opened with state of grace to get speak now out of the way if we are only getting one song from that album
