Lover is dope. Not big on the rest of tracks though at all

 

I hope the start of the album is a bunch of a rustling sounds and then you hear her on the phone and she says, "I'm back, lover!" and then it kicks into an acoustic song with banjo and fiddle. haha.

but really, i want a song with banjo and fiddle...

 

Dang I gotta wait till after work to listen to the new song & I still got 6 1/2 hours to go.

 

This album's gonna be a hell of a grab bag, huh?

 

Very Sheeran-esque but something just ... Doesn't feel right about it.

Agree the way she says lover is jarring and the sound effect is odd. I do like it more than ME and YNTCD though

 

On first listen this feels like one of her best songs ever lmao

 

if i had to guess at the pacing of the record, i'd say it's gonna be a run of more subtle and involved tracks building up to a pop explosion

at least, that's what i hope

The only little gripe I have with the song "Lover" is I wish that the reverb wasn't so thick on her vocals.
