And just to clarify, I totally appreciate that a lot of you are defending me or Anna or anyone in these threads. But I think collectively we can all engage better to keep conversations productive. (note to tone policers: productive does not necessarily mean nice!)

 

I’m really disappointed in this entire thread.

 

There has been great discussion and points made and we should acknowledge that, skip over the superfluous drama which I think is apparent when you see it.

 

I see that and agree. But some things I saw, like is that really necessary? I’m not going to put my opinion on the matter on here cause I’m not up for that rn. I’m just sad for her. That’s all.

I am extremely curious to see Taylor's next move. I feel like that post was unusually unrestrained for her, and her tumblr likes have been pretty caustic as well. I wonder if we're going to see a bit of a drop in her perfectly curated image.

I skimmed and skipped the last few pages because I don't care enough to read it all, but I will say I resent the idea that Taylor fans in here just shut anyone down. First of all, how actual dare u!! My veins flow with haterade and it is my life force. I criticize Taylor and so do others in this thread. I will say the ppl in here, espesh women, are intelligent enough to be fans but also be critical when it's needed (it's just not needed in this case). Undermining women's opinions by writing it off as fans being fans is sucky.

Tl;Dr I hate most people, places, and things and I resent the notion that I'd ever blindly defend anyone or anything!!! Calling out celebs is my fave past time and that is that on that!!

I didn't read the whole thing but my guess would be:

-man states man opinions
-women state opinions
-man ignores women
-tension escalates
-things get real and awkward
-ppl get called names and become upset
-jason and the women who weren't listened to in the first place diffuse the sitch
-conflict ends

I just skimmed the last several pages because they’re awful, so apologies if this has been posted, but a “reliable insider” said this stuff about Lover:

Promo single on July 12 or 19.
More collabs (including Katy Perry in August). They said “brace yourself,” so I guess they would be surprising or big.
They THINK “Lover” is also a song based on some merch.

Obviously just a rumor, but this person has apparently leaked true info in the past so.

 

I was trying to think of way out of left field, very surprising collabs kind of as a joke, but honestly anything I was coming up with just sounded awesome. I am very curious to see what the "brace yourself" is referring to.....

 

My immediate reaction to reply to this was the dude from Korn, but then I googled his name to make sure I had it right and this was literally one of the first things to pop up lol

 

HA!!! That is awesome. I think I would need to brace myself for that one.

 

I hope Taylor covers Good God

 

I hope she opens her album with a cover of “Blind.”
