Good guy, but a bad dude

Speaking of The color Fred, I really dig that last album he put out. He’s still got the riffs

His last album is really good. That Terrible Things album is also very good.

A Year and Change is really good. Love "Crooked Mile," which he wrote about his relationship with TBS.

Also "Ever Write," a nice Lemonheads kinda song

My fav tbs live moment will always be give it a name tour 2009 in Munich, Bavaria. Such a weird combo of bands (TBS, Escape the fate, underoath).

ETF opened "Situations" with saying "this next song is about fucking". When TBS was on, Adam said "i wont say stuff like that, i have a little more class". Later on he burped into the mic.

    The tension was so funny.

everyone hopping over the barrier to GA was so baller.

My buddy was in line to get popcorn and saw me in GA and just put his hands up like c'mon!

So first full week in January is historically a pretty big one for tour announcements… hopefully TBS will be part of that

This stands out to me as one of my all time favorite show moments from like an audience perspective. And it’s always surprised me that I’ve never really seen it happen more?

Apparently they were in the comments of Instagram replying to somebody who was asking about spring tour dates so we’ll see

I think a lot of that may have to do with the timing, it seemed like the emo/rock wave crested and began falling hard right around late 2007/2008. Paramore seemed like the last gasp of it being a big thing but it felt like people were starting to move on around then

At some point I think I'll make a longer post because due to the implication of possible schizophrenia this entire situation hits much closer to home for me, but I want to say very quickly that as times become more rough and the mental health care in this country/the culture surrounding mental health in this country being so shit/the impending rise of fascism, i want to say prepare for a lot of people and artists you used to love going through mental breakdowns and seeming regressions. It is sad to watch people degrade in such a way, but I am proud of the fact that the band tried the best they could in the situation they found themselves in.

All things considered, a better statement than the chaos of the weekend had me prepared for.

LOL for weeks he's been saying shit like "just you wait, the ugly truth will come out soon," and in the end his statement is just a tame and cordial "I'm out, best of luck to everyone."

Why couldn't he just have done that from the jump, lmao. I'd have a much better impression of him instead of the nonsense I've seen otherwise. Oh well, live and learn etc

I have a feeling this wasn’t a fully made decision until relatively recently. And there was a lot of public bridge burning over the weekend

On that note, I really hope this TBS/Coheed/Foxing tour gets officially announced today. I had WYWTB and Louder Now on shuffle during my morning commute and its got me all hyped.

Bears repeating that Brooklyn and Sleep fucking slap.

Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

I'm glad he made a tame post about it publicly but it doesn't change all that stupid drama he caused over the past few weeks on his way out. Probably didn't write that himself.

Wonder when or if the band will chime in.

Yeah, it feels like he had a lot of help crafting this statement, and it not being put out with a TBS statement at the same time makes me wonder if the band didn’t have a good idea it was coming today/right now
