Really impressive that Mark is able to make music this terrible.

    Things have changed.

No, you don't get it, he was the real songwriter in the band! (I know he actually wrote stuff.)

I don’t live in LB anymore but my parents sent me a killer Shine’s shirt for Christmas

Also this discourse has me on a tbs binge and damn, Brooklyn is still such a jam.

I rediscover Brooklyn like once every 5 years. It’s weird, but I intentionally haven’t added it to my library, so it’s just this perfect little treat that hits randomly. So fucking good.

Wrecked 'em? Damn near killed 'em!

That and “Sleep” are such underrated jams.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Brooklyn is straight up one of their best songs

If a possible Fred return means a possible addition of Brooklyn to the setlist, I’ll be a very happy boy. I don’t think they’ve played it since Fazzi was in the band.

    Maybe so, maybe not.

    Greatest bar on earth!

Imo it has Adam's greatest vocal performance...at least for the first half of their discography, Everything Must Go and The Stranger can't be ignored.

  15. I’m not wrong.

They both have a couple great early albums, and then a bunch of complete horse shit, with a couple great songs mixed in here and there.

that is uh, the most general basis for comparison ever lol. that's like saying Pink Floyd and Metallica are the same band because they released albums people like and don't like

Yeah that's a real bullshit comparison on Weezer and Offspring. What a weird thing for him to say.

Based on that statement I can deduce that Brad thinks FOAM is better than the White album and well

    not a doctor

imagine every member of this band being on good terms... recording a live record like orensanz together

would be a really cool way to celebrate such a long run, but i have a better chance of winning a million dollars

ps: i really don't like the offspring. i don't know when or how it happened. self esteem came on recently and i thought, "wow i don't think i've ever enjoyed listening to this band."

I love their song Islands of the Sun! Reminds me of the early 2000s, great band! Shame they never got more popular. He seems like a nice guy.

There's no way this is a Weezer song because it's an offspring song

If my friend had a Chorus account I'm sure he'd be avidly defending The Offspring right now, he strongly dislikes Weezer.

It’s honestly wild that Weezer and The Offspring haven’t toured together at this point
