Yeah I don't think it matters at all to me what Mark might have to say about TBS

 

If he keeps this up the band is going to have to eventually make a statement right?

 

i would assume they have NDAs and what not in place? they are a big enough band to have legal counsel, etc.

i'm assuming mark is really living in a gray area when it comes to all that.

The accounts in that subreddit post non-stop defending Mark, but I do see people posting how Mark’s ex-wife was hanging out with Adam and Shaun’s wives during the holiday shows. So if the band as a whole was really so terrible to him all this time and there’s a bunch of shit that’s gonna be “exposed” in an AMA, why would she be hanging out with people in the TBS world still? And now this ex girlfriend of Mark’s is making these claims? I don’t think Mark is a bad guy necessarily and I’m not comfortable speculating on his mental health, but it seems like there’s too many holes in his side of the story.

 

I once met the band after a show and Mark was the least friendly by a mile out of everyone.

Got heavy into pills. Developed paranoid delusions. Carried a bunch of burner phones. Thought people were speaking in codes around him. Went deep down alt right conspiracy theory rabbit holes. Became impossible to work with, super disruptive. Originally was supposed to take some time to deal with it but things got even worse and the band decided to move on without him

 

I do recall Mark saying something about having an off/on issue with pills after his back injury years ago, but got clean around the time Happiness Is was released. I guess he never really kicked that habit. If that’s the case then thats really sad.

Someone on the subreddit also just said that John left the band too (source is Mark). Wtf is going on?

 

Holy shit, sounds like someone needs to step in and get the guy some help immediately before it is too late. No doubt quite a few people have tried to help him already.

I feel like if your source on that is Mark then it’s possible it’s just Mark’s interpretation of Fred being on stage and Fred being on tour. Somebody on Instagram is saying that John’s the actual mastermind behind everything.
It feels likely the reason the band has stayed silent for this long is out of respect for whatever struggle Mark is going through—or maybe it started out this way and now it’s more best legal advice to keep quiet, but who knows.
(Personally I think putting his health struggles on blast is not a great look especially if it’s something you have been told privately/likely without knowing you would put it on the internet but whatever.)

there was also a rumor john was taking off 2025 and fred would be joining them on tour.

again, these are just random rumors from redditors though.

 

Lenny already told us that Fred is filling in for John on a tour this year.

Everything they’ve said has been true or at least fit with everything else. What Lenny says is gospel until proven otherwise.

I assume this comment was deleted? I don’t see it anywhere, but yeah, that’s Mark’s ex - who he had just recently been dating (following his divorce earlier this year)

 

There’s a rumor that TBS was never a band and this has all been a weird fever dream. Per some random Reddit account.
