If it's as good as Happiness or Tidal Wave I will be happy either way

 

I think he sounds solid on Tidal Wave. It sounds the closest to what he actually sings like these days. I think Happiness Is is a better album, but there’s certain tracks like All The Way or They Don’t Have Any Friends where it sounds great, but you just know he’s never going to hit that live.

 

That's the problem

 

Over six years since Tidal Wave. Crazy when you remember how crazy people would go after three back in the day. Really hard to tell what it’s going to sound like, it’s been three or four years since they released those singles with the greatest hits comp? I’m excited

 

But when will they finally take back Sunday?

The only reason Fred has not collaborated with the band in some capacity is because Mark HATES him with an all consuming passion, even to this day. Fred has been trying to make amends for years and in 2020 Mark finally told him "leave me the fuck alone".

Fred and Adam reconnected years ago and they still talk from time to time (but they're not close for obvious reasons).

Fred will never be part of TBS again as long as Mark is still in the band, IMO

 

Something like this came very close to happening recently but a certain meathead drummer pooched it

Yeah i was def aware that Mark hates Fred with a burning passion. Did Mark say this in an interview or podcast somewhere? I hadn't heard about that happening in 2020.

 

Idk maybe when you're constantly kicking out members, you're the one who has the problem. Mark sounds like a jerk.

 

He's also probably the least talented member of the band so there's that... swap mark for Will Noon, and bring Fred back into the fold... now THATS an album I'd wanna hear.
