Part of it for me is the sonic aspect of the record.

I prefer the live versions of those songs. Whether it's on the Orensanz live album or the Bamboozle one.

I got into the band around the time WYWTB came out and it's been my favorite record ever since. Always been more of a Fred guy too, that Terrible Things record is awesome.

I'm so bummed I don't have a copy of the "There's No I In Team" music video that I made in high school for my Media class....... it was as awesome/awful as you can probably imagine.

 

LOST is so good. So is Moneen

I miss lost. Spent hours discussing theories back in the day, still not over the finale.

 

Alright seems a decent amount of people are interested, I'll start this up. We'll start with Tidal Wave and work backwards, just like I did with so hang tight

 

hahaha it was pretty similar to that, minus the performance shots. it was just a story video of me swooping in on my friend's girlfriend, and then he shoots me in the back while i'm walking around at a park in the middle of the night, and the final shot is of me lying on the ground dead with fake blood coming out of my mouth... haha. it was pretty intense, haha. when we showed it in class, a girl cried and wouldn't stop talking about how sad it was, so i guess mission complete! when i had to lay there pretending to be dead, i kept laughing, so we had to just freeze a frame where i looked the most serious/dead. haha!

 

I'd pay to see this.

 

at this point, i would too. i haven't seen it in 10+ years. we made it in 2003 or 2004, haha.

 

Alright everyone, welcome to the TAKING BACK SUNDAY FACE OFF. This will be NCAA style matches, with randomly generated brackets for each album facing off to decide which is the winner of each album. At the end of all of the albums, we'll do a finale Champions Bracket to decide the best overall TBS song. We will start off with Tidal Wave and work our way backwards. Here are the rules:

3. Feel free to discuss why you chose one song over the other and why you like that song. It's what helps keeps these fun!

The randomly generated bracket doesn't really mean the best song will be picked...for example...there are some songs that are already onto Round 2 that may not have even gotten out of Round 1...or there are two songs that are against each other that are better than two of the other songs in Round 1.

 

Well great! Now I have to go back and listen to this album to see what the songs I like are actually called.
