    Things have changed.

One of his kids has a medical issue, I believe. I might be wrong.

I don't understand how anyone can think self titled was better than New Again. The entire album is all over the place, the guitars are boring, and it just feels very phoned in- as if they were some other band trying to emulate what they think TBS sounds like.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I'll take S/T over New Again every day of the week.

What they think TBS sounds like having never heard TBS before. The couple good songs were lucky guesses.

It has something to do with the fact that I like only 2-3 tracks on New Again. However, I enjoy most, if not all, the songs on their self titled.

Both albums very good, s/t is the one that got me back into them after only listening to TAYF

This is one of our favorite topics as a thread

    Newbie

Been in a huge TBS kick lately. There are only a few bands where I could actually tolerate listening to their whole discography and TBS is one of them. Each album brings something special and different. They have to be one of the most consistent bands in the scene.

TAYF and WYWTB will always be their best albums to me, for pure nostalgia reasons. So many great memories associated with both albums. Seeing these guys in 2002, one of my first concerts, will always be a highlight for me.

I def agree. A day spent listening to their entire discography is a day well spent in my book. I have 1280 tbs scrobbles since I made my last.fm account in September.

Even if there are bands I like more than them, TBS will always be one I listen to a lot

    9. ghostman on third

i haven't listened to the album in full in quite a long time but i my top 3 would be ghost man, you know how i do, and you're so last summer. always thought cute without the e is way overrated.

speaking of great romances, the acoustic version that they did during the S/T era is one of my favorites. the acoustic take on ghostman is pretty good too.

Where My Mouth Is is an underrated track. Very honest and reflective.

The delivery falls very flat for me on Where My Mouth Is. The subject matter of the lyrics is drowned out by forgettable instrumentals and some boring delivery from Adam in my opinion.

I've always liked New Again and still do. It's a great spring/summer album for me. My only real complaint about that album is that I wish Fazzi sang more in it.

S/T is good too. Straight forward rock album like Louder Now is. Its a decent reunion album. Who Are You Anyways? Is probably my favorite on that album. That's a tough one though.

I would say WYWTB is their most nostalgic album for me and is probably my favorite of theirs. But I will say that I think Tidal Wave is their best album to date. They found their sound and it's a sound that fits them. I didn't get the sense from NA, S/T, and Happiness is.

Sorry for this rant and don't know if this is just me and my friends who think this... The past three or so times I have seen TBS live it's almost as if they deliberately kept Adam's mic at a low volume so you can barely hear his voice for the majority of the show.

The last two times I saw TBS were polar opposites. I caught their first tour back with Nolan. They played mostly old stuff and the self/titled didn't exist. Adam sounded pretty good and surprised me and my friends at how good he sounded. Last summer at the Taste of Chaos tour? Not so great. and he kept saying "ladies and gentleman" after every song in that weird southern drawl he's suddenly pushing heavy now.

feels like he's been pushing that drawl for quite a while. i've never had a problem with his live singing but that drawl bothers me lol
