Jammed my TBS playlist on the way to work this morning and hearing Decade, Flicker and Can't Look Back back to back is great way to start off a morning.

Edit: the way I worded this "Can't Look Back back to back" is a mess. I refuse to change it though.

So, The Starting Line just announced a Holiday Show in Philly Dec 15th……perhaps they are one of the surprise openers on the 14th for TBS? It would make sense to let TSL announce their shows before announcing that they’re support for another band.

TBS will be covering The Smashing Pumpkins - Bullet With Butterfly Wings for the following comp. STSML

I think this is going to be a really interesting cover. Adam's voice might be a great fit for this.

Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

Im intrigued mostly because I have no idea whatsoever how this is going to turn out sonically. I hope they go hard/heavy and don't hold back at all, like something in the same vein as El Paso would be cool imo

If it's anything other than Adam on verses and John on chorus this thing is gonna sound hilarious

I feel like Tidal Wave has become a fall album for me, I guess due to it's release date. Theres something about driving through the woods and listening to these songs that hits close to home. This album still holds up after 2 years and I think Fences and All excess are some of the best songs they've ever written. I hope they take the band in that direction with the next album.

Wrecked 'em? Damn near killed 'em!

I think a majority of the songs on every album from Louder Now to Tidal Wave have been a half-step down. I think “Holy Water” “I Felt It Too” and “You Can’t Look Back” are all in E standard tuning, but I can’t think of any others off the top of my head.

I liked tidal waves when it was released, I feel confident saying it's my second favorite album from them now.

  14. They went back to E Standard tuning for almost the entirety of Tidal Wave if I remember correctly.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

Interesting. I like the coin-flip aspect because when I went to the back to back nights for Say Anything's IARB/IDOTG/SA mega tour, the crowd for night 1 was sold out and night 2 was astonishingly low in Chicago.

Sounds like this might already be what they're doing for the Starland shows in December?

Either way, this is awesome. I'll definitely go to both Denver nights, so I'll get to see both WYWTB and LN in full. I went to 3 shows on the TAYF10 tour so that's whatever for me, but seeing songs off the other two albums I've never seen before will be a treat.

I think I’d wanna see WYWTB and New Again in full more than the others.

Throw Tidal Wave in their too, but they did that already.
