I also still am curious about this. I can't imagine just standing around watching him "DJ" for 4 hours and getting home close to 3:00 AM, lol.

 

I've been to the HOB plenty of times but have never been to the Foundation Room. Have you been to anything there?

I don't know, maybe I'll stick around for a little bit but yeah, that's too late for me. Plus, I wouldn't think that John would go from being on stage with TBS straight to his DJ set. I'd think that it'd start closer to midnight, I don't know.

Basically, I just want to the guys in ETID to stick around so I can have some drinks with them

 

I really can't imagine the aftershow being anything more than him DJing in a corner and people standing around talking to eachother

 

Yeah, I'm not expecting to be a "show" or anything really, just more curious than anything like how many people will go and if it'd be worth staying for.

Her actual due date is August 24, but she's scheduled to be induced on the 17th...I've ran it by her that I'm interested in going to the show and she's been surprisingly cool about it. I wouldn't be going to any of the openers, so I probably wouldn't even leave the house until like 8 p.m., which at this point, is normally around the time she goes to bed being 38 weeks pregnant and all...I still haven't purchased a ticket though, because obviously, she could go at any time now.

 

I feel it, I think I'm gonna stay but I don't know yet

 

I have been up there numerous times, a buddy of mine has a memebership to it. I have only seen one show in there: Sir Miley Rocks of The Cool Kids, it wasn't very enjoyable because it was so packed and the space is kind of tight. But it is very very nice in there. I have seen a few DJs in there and it was fun but again it was crammed. If it was free I'd probably go and stay for a bit but I just don't know about $20 for two tickets to see him DJ. Lol. Because I'm pretty sure that's all he'll do.

 

Pretty sure you just bid on it but I didn't wanna throw out a super low bid because that would be disrespectful haha. It was a Wild Wing logo too and I'm a HUGE Ducks fan.

 

any time i've ever gone to see someone "DJ", its exactly this. people hanging out drinking beer while the person "DJ'ing" just scrolls through an itunes library looking for songs to play. I could see John interacting with the crowd from time to time just because he's a super friendly dude but thats usually all it is in my experience. I wouldn't expect any of the other dudes from TBS to be there. I definitely wouldn't go into it expecting/hoping there will be some sort of pop-up acoustic performance.

 

I went to the DJ set for about 3 songs in Portland. It was Don Henley, Death Cab, and some newer radio song that I've heard but don't know the artist for. After TBS played an amazing set upstairs it was just not the vibe I was looking for. Not a ton of people had come in but it definitely wasn't empty. John was also being really social and taking pictures with people and such. Could be worth a drop-in if it's close. I was really surprised at how quickly he was down there after their set.

 

Yeah… I didn't expect that at all. I'm more or less curious if it's like Emo Nite LA Tour or just a standard laptop DJ set.

 

It depends. Went to the one he did in San Diego, which was their version of Emo Nite and he played a lot of like mainstream indie/alternative, which is fine, but not for an emo night.

 

Denver show tonight!!

 

They played Number Five with a Bullet tonight! Holy shit I'm so happy what a fun show. The crowd was actually insane!

Great concert in Denver and had an awesome place to stand and see everything despite my 5'2 height. They were fantastic.

 

I just saw that they've been playing Everything Must Go?! Is that a joke? I hope to god they play it at Riot Fest. I think that's my favorite TBS song there is. Actually making me consider traveling to this tour instead of just waiting so I can make sure I can see that.

 

They played it when I saw them in Atlanta and I wanna say at least one of the FL dates I went to.

 

I do believe they've played it every show this tour. Adam told a story last night that he sees everyone on "the social medias" asking why they don't play songs from New Again. He said his first thought was "Holy shit, we don't play any songs from New Again". Probably was joking but was fun that he referenced it.

 

8/19 Buffalo show has moved venues. Show was sold out but more are available now

I have a ticket for Utica but buffalo now works better with my schedule. Can't imagine Utica is buying up secondhand market tickets.
