Tonight's ep made front article of the biggest news website here in Australia

I think what the big news story of this episode surely means that person will win (I wouldn't take them to final 3 because of that though)

 

the specific spoiler i posted above (excluding the tweet; you can't spoiler tag a tweet) also isn't directly a spoiler, it's speculation based off the spoiler.


the winner of the season is unknown; the bootlist has (so far) been accurate and only goes to the final 3/only says who of the final 3 doesn't win.

 

What an emotional episode...mostly impressed with the way the show handled it but what a shitty situation.

For a show that once thought it would be a good idea to separate tribes by race... this show has become really great at handling various -isms and -phonias. Probst is great at shutting that shit down.

 

I do wonder if Zeke would have been able to stop the show from airing his outting if he asked. Though, I don't really know what they could have done edit-wise considering they skipped the vote.

Yeah, and Zeke definitely knew going into season 1 even, that if it came up, it would air. He knew the game he was playing

 

Yeah that's what I figured legally. I'm sure part of him knew this was inevitable too. More curious whether CBS would have just done him a solid if he asked, since it's not like they tried to capitalize on it in his first season.

 

He also probably knew that reddit figured it out during season one, so at least a few people/fans knew before S2

TLDW: Nobody saw Zeke play before because S33 aired while S34 was being filmed. When Jeff met Zeke he immediately recognized him as trans since he works with trans people often. Jeff mistakenly assumed he was out about it in S33 (i.e was branded Survivors first trans contestant) and thought Zeke was using the fact no one saw his season to save that information (for later use I guess).

It's still a really fucking stupid move on Varner's part. But this at least this clears up his logic a bit.

 

This makes me feel a lot better. I assumed what you said was true because I was pretty much thinking the exact same thing you had said haha

 

jeff (probst) really screwed the pooch in telling the cast that Michaela/Zeke had Hantz level impacts. not even just with this; when michaela was in danger early on his hype was probably a driving force

Fuck me, I wish I had a bottle of champagne for when Debbie was voted out. So glad to see that witch gone.

I love Michaela so much. I get upset when her name gets brought up to vote in gunning for her to win that hard

 

varner was really bad the week or so after the episode aired but he's back on social media and seems to be doing a lot better.
he's doing the usual attention craving reality star stuff and advertised his charity skype calls as "cuss me out for a good cause. bring it"

 

He'll prob make a lot of money for charity in that case!! Haha
