This is the first current gen console I've owned in a while and I'm playing one of the most inspired entries in the series that made me fall in love with Nintendo when I was a kid, I feel the same sense of wonder I did then

I will 100% this game if it means playing jump rope in a city park for fucking hours

 

Select 2 player and then just use Cappy. It was SO much easier.

 

I haven’t done two player yet..how’s that work?

 

I still can’t see how that’s two player? Lol I’m such a noob

 

One player is Mario and one player is Cappy. One gets each joy-con, though Mario's abilities are a bit limited. You can play with separate controllers too, of course.

 

I honestly nailed the jump rope on the first try, idk how everyone seems to have such difficulty with it

 

Jump rope was the easiest for me too. I actually struggled the most with volleyball for some reason.

 

Finally 100%. 999 stars was a nightmare.

 

Maybe I didn’t watch the full thing but I just saw Cappy playing and Mario sitting on his ass lol

That video is a bad example of two player. More... how to use two player, as one person, to beat volleyball.

Up to around 700 moons. Still have all of dark side, the advanced boss battles, and then a bunch of random cleanup left to get.

Annoyed by moons that seem to require you to be in joycon mode so you can do the shake move/throw your hat in the circle. Part of the selling point of the switch is you can play both portable or not, but seem to have encountered some that I basically have to be docked to collect.

 

i still have barely played this since the first day i got it because botw is just too enthralling. will be cool getting back to a very different kind of gameplay with this soon though

 

How long did it take everyone to master the stages of the darker side? I'm up to the hedgehogs and I'm so tired of repeating this over and over.

 

That's the last really difficult part imo. Are you getting the extra heart in the Yoshi path part with the Sphinx?

I’m only at like 300 and I’m ill at the thought of all them that are left

 

Finally finished the Darker Side and I feel like it's one of my best accomplishments of the year. I also think I've mastered every stage and I could go back and do it again for fun.

 

I can’t get past 70 on jump rope, I’m very frustrated

 

The jump rope challenge will prevent me from getting 100% on this game

 

Imagine how frustrated I was when I got to 95 lol
