Holy fuck, this next one. My two favs off the album. I'm Not the One probably has my favorite chorus on the album and "You Take the Best of Me" bridge hits so hard.....

but 88 kinda has the whole package and that instrumental jam at the end takes it for me.

Seriously. It hurt me to cast a vote against 88, but I’m Not the One is too underrated. I think it might be my favorite from the album.

 

Just like my Antidote vs Welcome to Our New War vote in SOTY, if I think about my pick too long I may start to question it too much and it's not good for my health lol.

Angels, Pieces, and 88 are all top tier songs for them. Open Your Eyes and No Solution never did anything for me.

This is still my favorite Sum album by a lot.

 

Mine as well. I wonder what would have followed if they didn't lose Dave and kinda regress in sound a bit on Underclass.

They brought back this style for Screaming Bloody Murder which is probably my 2nd favorite from these guys, but I still wonder what the album in between would have been like....

Confession time. Dave was one of the first guitar heroes I had when I started playing. I was so bummed when he left the band that I didn’t even give Underclass Hero a chance when it came out. I’ve still only heard the singles.

You going to listen to it for the bracket? It has some really good tracks like Count Your Blessings, With Me and March of the Dogs and doesn't really have any real bad song....just kinda blah after Chuck.

 

Underclass Hero is solid. I'm out after that one though

 

Loved Underclass Hero when it came out. Haven't listened to any of Sum in forever but this bracket has me feeling nostalgic haha.

Yeah I’m looking forward to listening to it. It will be nice to hear some songs that I’m not familiar with. I really like With Me, Walking Disaster, and March of the Dogs. Those are the only ones I really remember hearing.

You should listen to it now that he's back. Even Dave gave Underclass Hero a chance, and liked it.
