I want to start the whole series over again to lead up to the new season, but I know I'll only get halfway through season 1 before I get distracted by something else, and then I'll never finish it. siiiiigh... I suck at watching stuff.

The upside down is such a weird concept. We know you can physically travel there because we see Hop, Joyce and El walk in and out but also you can like mind travel there because Will is both in the upside down and Hawkins at the same time when he’s getting possessed. I just wanna spend like 3 days with the duffers asking questions.

 

Ask them if Paul Reiser is the Mad About You guy or the Aliens guy

 

GOnna need an aged down CGI Eleven flashback scene from Season 1 where she tells Mike they mostly come at night, mostly

That can't be accurate, can it? That's a bigger budget than No Way Home, isn't it?

 

So that's why our bills are going up!

 

No clue if it’s accurate. If it is, it did cost more to make than NWH. That was a $200 million dollar budget. This season is a hefty $270, allegedly.

 

It makes sense to me considering all the special effects that seem to be included this season. It basically looks like a 9 hour long blockbuster haha.

like it seems entirely possible to me that the last two episodes are gonna be some big fight with the big bad and the upside down and etc and those two eps alone could be north of 150 mil if they’re two hours long and full of cgi action

 

They probably didn’t need to pay that much, but damn.

 

Is that more than Game of Thrones?

 

At a quick glance it seems the only season of tv that’s more expensive is the upcoming Lord of the Rings show.

 

Yeah I feel like GOT budgets would get north of 100 mil, never THIS big.

but actually question…is that cost Including the cost of the actors salaries?
