Have to agree with this sentiment. Such a good song overall.

 

Giving the entire album another listen right now, and I still can't get over how they ruined Eternal Battle with that electronic dubcore shit. It would be a perfect song without it

 

I wouldn't say it runied the song as I still love it, but yeah it would be a ton better if they didn't dubstep it.

I could see them wanting to add something different to their style, but when they stepped back and listened to the album as a whole after it was done, I'm surprised they didn't go "hey, this album lacks some heavy guitar, lets redo at least this bridge to help balance it all out".

 

There is no Atreyu thread so going to post it here because everyone subbed seems to like good music haha.

Really digging the new song. There is another single on Spotify called "Anger Left Behind". I'm sure releasing another song is a mistake, so catch it while you can!

 

Is it just me or did the momentum for this album die down after the thing with Phil? I really enjoy this album and would love to see some sort of tour.

 

I feel the same way. Sucks, because album is great and is geared more towards a wider audience with their poppier beats.

This is still one of my favorite album roll outs ever. They did everything right with the videos and released all the right songs slowy. I hope sales wise and everything it did what the band needed to keep going.

 

Yeah it seemed like they were on a roll, then the thing with Phil happened and there were no news since then.

 

I wonder if that is all just circumstance though. At that point, they had their small tour announced and no new songs or anything to drop.

I know they had a video for Goodnight, My Love filmed with Phil that they probably can't use anymore, but other than that I don't think they had anything else in mind to promote the album.

Maybe this is me just trying to be positive though haha.

 

I think the album probably did what they needed it to do, especially since their crowdfunding was so successful. I’m assuming it was profitable for them since they did it without a label.

 

It’s a shame because I remember during the production they kept talking about doing a real tour for the album. But they never did it

 

Which is a shame as this is their most arena-rock sounding album. Especially with Adam back in the band, I thought they would welcome him again with a tour. I suppose life just got in the way.

 

Holy hell, that was great! Phil is really playing the hell out of that guitar!

I got major Van Halen vibes.

 

Kind of weird to do a music video for a song that's almost a decade old, but that was great anyway.

 

Saddest view better be on the new record!

Holy shit. Why haven't I heard of this "Orientation" EP before? I recognize some of their old songs on there. I'd love to get both EPs and both LPs on vinyl though... But my wallet would hurt so much...

 

i think orientation is something new as well, but yeah it looks like it has some old tracks on it too.
