The one good thing about the long rollout is vinyl (hopefully) actually shipping day of release.

This thing is poppy as hell yet heavy and screamey. I don’t think they knew what kind of album they wanted to make so they made it both.

You must fix your heart Supporter

I've not heard it yet but you can easily mix those two sounds, you don't have to be one or the other. They probably wanted to make an album that did both.

Honestly, I kind of like it like that. I have always enjoyed all sides of this band. This album seems to hit the right spot for me right now.

The 6 unreleased songs are definitely better then the 5 they put out as singles

Agree in a sense, but I really liked 3 out of the 5 they released, so overall things are pretty positive for me.

7.5/8/10 for me after one listen. Don’t know if I’m gonna listen to it again right away or move on to the new periphery

Definitely will have this one in my rotation. As someone who liked wolves a lot, this may be better as a whole.

I want to kick whoever thought it was a good idea to manipulate "afterglow" in the chorus of that song. It's just not necessary and ruins the flow.

    I agree. It sounds terrible.

I was wondering at first if the audio file was messed up. Then it happened a second time…

Why are people surprised It's heavy and poppy? You could say that about every single one of their albums.
