    wrapped up Insomnia tonight, honestly it was a pretty tough read. probably would have DNF'd it if not for the Tower connections and the fact that those only really come in right at the end lmao. kind of glad I didn't because the epilogue was actually really beautiful and moving (people who say King can't write endings are wrong). just a shame it was attached to the absolute slog of the first 500 pages and the intermittently cool and goofy magic system in the next 300. gun to my head, probably my least favourite King apart from maybe Cell
