my Dark Tower shelf is looking pretty damn nice nowadays. if he really is writing Talisman 3 like that tweet implies I'll have an even 19 there which is just too perfect

huh, I assumed he was talking about the Talisman adaptation, I assumed a third book was out of the cards since Straub died. Would be great if he is still writing it though.

I believe he said at some point that Straub left him some notes on a Talisman 3 that he wanted to flesh out into a novel eventually. then again someone on Twitter asked him where he was going next recently and he said Mejis, so maybe he's just doing another Dark Tower. who knows! (King probably doesn't know yet from what I know of his writing style lol)

They fixed your brain when you were young.

Finished Night Shift the other day. Figured it would be a good Halloween time read, and it mostly did not disappoint!

  10. Since it’s mandatory to read at least one King book in the fall, I started If It Bleeds today.

The new paperback covers that are on shelves now are so good. I don't have money to be buying new copies of books I already have, but man those are nice

So before I really got into reading as an adult I STUPIDLY watched the 11/22/63 tv series.

It was shortly after I realized I enjoyed reading and of course Stephen King. I’ve been so mad at myself for watching it and have purposely put off reading the book to hopefully forget the show.

But today I finally picked it up. Immediately flew through 120 pages. I love this book so much already

  21. Enjoyed the first two stories in If It Bleeds. On the title story now, and I liked Cynthia Erivo as Holly so much in the adaptation of The Outsider that I completely forgot she's written as white in the books.

Wow, It is genuinely perfect for 90% of the book and then…what the fuck is happening lol. Not even just *that* scene, but all of this turtle shit. I shouldn’t be surprised since I’ve seen plenty of people talk about it but damn
